Five-year program:  BA in Communication and 营销传播硕士

Marist’s dual degree program is designed for students pursuing a BA in Communication and an 营销传播硕士 in five years.  While the undergraduate curriculum focuses both on the theory and practice of Communication, the 30-credit hour graduate degree program provides students with an interdisciplinary and cutting-edge educational experience. Students will take courses in the areas of advertising, 公共关系, 品牌管理, 战略沟通, 还有社交媒体. Students will learn the fundamentals of marketing communication research, 社交媒体分析, 品牌, 公共关系 and advertising management, 全球消费者洞察, social and digital marketing strategies, 这类数字故事叙述, and apply what they learn to real-world projects both in and outside of the classroom. Students take six core courses and four electives in one of three concentrations: health communication concentration, digital marketing communication concentration, and strategic leadership concentration. The 健康传播 and 战略领导 concentrations draw on the existing online Masters in Public Administration program in the School of 管理.

The courses I am taking as a graduate student differ tremendously from my undergraduate experience. One of the major benefits of the program is having the opportunity to work with students in different fields and experience levels. 120年信贷, four-year BA in Communication curriculum is based on a strong foundation of core liberal arts and communication studies courses. Of the 30-credit 营销传播硕士 curriculum, students will take four graduate courses (12 credits) as an undergraduate during the junior and senior years of study. The remaining six graduate courses (18 credits) will be taken during the fifth year of study to complete the 营销传播硕士 requirements.

学费

The four graduate classes you will take as an undergrad will be billed at the current undergraduate tuition rate. Graduate classes taken after you complete your undergraduate degree will be billed at the current graduate tuition rate. 

Requirements for degree completion

The BA in Communication requires the successful completion of courses totaling a minimum of 120 credits, with a minimum of 30 credits completed at Marist, 最少2个.0 cumulative GPA, the specified coursework for the student’s major field, and 最少2个.0 GPA in the student’s major field.

The MA in MC is a 30-credit program; 12 credits will be completed as an undergraduate, and 18-credits as a graduate student in the fifth year. 学生必须保持3分.0 cumulative GPA, and a “C” or better in all required courses.
